Yoga in a Church

Every Thursday morning at Host Café, between the aroma of the coffee and the fragrant smell of cakes, a yoga class is taking place. Under our intricate ceiling, in the middle of the concrete jungle, you can enjoy a 45 minutes yoga class.

Don’t expect the usual yoga location. We have something unique: the walls of St Mary Aldermary. As the sounds of the city are blocked by the thick walls of the church, you can really unwind and relax; candles will be on, and the magic will happen.

The sessions are guided by Charlie Granger, a young entrepreneur. Her business focuses on mindfulness, self-healing and self-improvement. She is originally from Stroud in Gloucestershire. Charlie started doing yoga at a very young age and has, ever since, used this practice as a form of therapy. She has experience in many different fields, but her true passion resides in yoga.

The classes are intimate, with a maximum of 10 spots available per session. This weekly yoga class aims to bring value to the space we have, here at Host. By doing so, we offer a place where people can start their day in the right way, take a deep breath and be ready for the challenges ahead.

Yoga Classes at Host are part of our mission to give back to the community in the City of London and beyond.
